Haiku 26

Last leaves of summer
Swept up after winter rain,
Composted for spring.

*******

Green leaves come and go
The tree remains, for a while;
Even rocks crumble

*******

Gentle ox grazing
Beneath a golden-coin sun
And a red-streaked sky

(Gung Hay Fat Choy)

I don't know why I think that's so funny, but I do.

I'm guessing you find it funny because you know that what I wrote is probably my highest form of compliment, and when I think about it, that is pretty funny.

It was more that you took the sour lemons of my gloomy philosophizing and turned them into the delicious lemonade of a teaching moment. Farm gals rule!
