Haiku 2014/27

Classical music
died again the other day.
I'll mourn with Mozart.

(Today is Mozart's 258th birthday.)

I certainly hope that you played something other than dreary Requiem, one of the few pieces of music by Mozart I'm not in love with.

Though, for the record, I do love the Mozart Requiem, and just about all requiems, what I actually listened to last night was (1) Ella Fitzgerald singing a bunch of different stuff and (2) harpsichord sonatas by CPE Bach. So there was some poetic license there, but the birthday fit as did the alliteration.
