I think I've had various paperbacks that I've shed over the years -- and for a while I figured I would get the Library of America complete set. Eventually I realized that those volumes, handsome though they are, are maybe a bit bulky for carry-around reading -- and do I really want to read all of his prefaces? I'm settling for completing my set of their five-volume collected stories.
