I figured it out later. Of course I remember the conversation. Not only do I have a hellacious headcold, I slipped on the inside stairs the other day so my knee hurts, and my lower back has gone out, and my hands are cracked and bleeding from the cold dry weather. So those are my excuses. Plus a squirrel got into my house this morning!

Haiku 360 . . . I remember we talked about what it was like to write one a day for a whole year when we were in San Francisco at the train station.
