Sadly I was still too sick last Saturday to attend the Merola Grand Finale, which I understand was quite enjoyable. I heard some spectacular singing not only in their Streetcar Named Desire but also in their superb Don Giovanni, which I hope to post about shortly (see the mention above of temporarily debilitating sickness). Best wishes to all the young singers involved.
