Younger 103 reminds me of hiking in the wilds of Vermont and not being able to help looking back every so often. I finally figured out that the sound of the trees in the woods sounded a lot like traffic coming up behind me.
On another note, the bells seem to be tolling for everyone -- except WF, where you probably heard them.
Libby, It was quite colorful, though. The dead bird was also a pigeon, so there was a bit of cannibalism in the scene, but I didn't quite manage to work that in.
Shushu, Ah, the soothing sounds of traffic! It's difficult to sleep sometimes without the sound of smashing glass. . .
