Hey Susan, I have to admit I was pretty fascinated by that as well, though I haven't been changing diapers recently. I can't say that my musings on okapis had included many thoughts about what their scat looked like, but considering it's mentioned in every animal sighting (cryptozoological or not)I guess it's just one of those "at home" signs biologists look for.
Patrick - I'm happy to say that I haven't had to change diapers for about a year now, although I do have to scoop the kitty litter. But poop is a very popular topic of conversation among the preschool set... and their parents.
Hey Susan, After I wrote my comment I realized that your son was probably past diapers. I figured the memory might linger on. Poop is a strangely fascinating topic for many people of all generations!
