It does add a delightfully retro touch to the alcohol issues of the Tenderloin habituees, especially with that "mid-century"-style cocktail hanging below the neon.
I did a google search for images because I wanted to make sure that the cocktail was a martini complete with olive. Yup. Swank! I'm meeting Don Draper there tonight.
No, I still haven't seen a single episode of that show. It's amazing what I know about things I've never seen!
I'm amazed to hear there are Google images of the Lush Lounge. On second thought, maybe not -- I'm sure the hipsters love to go there and meet old drunks so they can pretend that they're "authentic."
Has there ever been a better name for a bar for serious alcoholics?
